Do I have a case in Florida if the property owner’s dog bit me at a home where I was doing work?

If you are at someone’s home because you were invited there to do work, you’re legally on their premises. While you’re there, if the homeowner’s dog bites you and causes you injury, yes, you can make a claim because the owner of the dog is strictly liable. It doesn’t matter if they knew the dog was aggressive or not, but they are liable for any damages their dog causes to a person that is lawfully on their property.
