Who pays my medical bills if I am injured in a Florida motorcycle accident?

If you’re injured in a Florida motorcycle accident and you incur medical bills, you are not going to have them paid by PIP, because PIP is personal injury protection insurance and it’s not required on motorcycles. They don’t even offer it. So the second line of who would pay would be your health insurance if you have any. The third line of who would pay would be the at-fault party, but this is going to take some time, because you have to bring a claim, you have to negotiate the claim, you may have to litigate the claim.

So, in the end, at the end of the day, whether it’s resolved by settlement or by a verdict, you will have a claim for your medical bills in addition to other expenses. At that point if you win it will be paid back to you.
